After you receive your virtual or physical emburse card, you will be prompted to activate it either via email or at emburse.com/activate. Once the card is active, you can use it anywhere Visa or Mastercard is accepted in the US or internationally. Virtual cards can be added to Apple Pay for iOS or Google Pay on Android. Your card may have spending restrictions set by your Admin, which you will be able to view in the ‘Card Details’ in your Abacus account.

Viewing Card Details on Web

To see your Emburse card details when on a web browser, you can head over to the ‘Cards’ page in Abacus. There you will see the option to ‘view details,’ which will show your card information and any budgets or limits that apply.

Viewing Card Details on Mobile

You can access your Emburse card details on the Abacus mobile app by clicking on the ‘Cards’ tab in the menu in the upper right corner. You will be able to toggle between the ‘details’ and ‘transactions’ views. The ‘details’ view displays the card information, which shows the card number if you have a virtual card,  and policy settings your Admin put in place when creating the card. This includes spending limits, budgets, card availability and merchant restrictions. You will also see the option to report your card lost or stolen at the bottom of the ‘details’ page. The ‘transactions’ view will show all posted and un-expensed transactions for your card.
